Mystic Metallics, Dior’s Fall Makeup Collection

Shine brighter than the stars! French fashion house Dior invites us to discover the enchantingly elegant power of their fall 2013 makeup collection.

Trusting his intuition, Christian Dior truly believed that he was the master of his own destiny.  “My destiny is walking towards me”, he said back in 1946 as he stood on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore hesitating wondering whether to give up his career as a fashion illustrator to design his own line.

Working, the artist tripped over a metallic star pierced by a hob and since then he decided the way of his fate and he carried his ultimate lucky charm in his pocket: the Star.

Today, the mystery of the shining spheres that guided Monsieur Dior as a worldwide fashion icon is much brighter with the release of Mystic Metallics.

“The colour harmonies that I have created for this look to reflect with the mysterious colours of the galaxy life journey from the earth to the moon”, added Tyen, Dior Makeup Creative Director.

Dior’s lucky charms stuns over this autumn collection and decorates the mythical 5 Couleurs Palette with metallic shades and reflections. The two colour harmonies are available in shades of blue-greens and browns (384 Bonne Etoile) or violet and silver (864 Constellation).

A dot of colour, the Dior Show Fusion Mono is a blend of shimmering highlights that recreates depth and contrast of a catwalk look.

The gel-mousse texture weightlessly illuminates the eye with multifaceted lasting colour and it’s available in six shades: 001 Lune, 081 Aventure, 281 cosmos, 381 Millenium, 661 Meteore and 881 Hypnotique.

From greyish pink to plum,Dior manicure “Mystic Magnetics” reveals an innovating technique. The new formula is enriched with metallic particles that react to contact of a magnet and reveals a secret motif.
